So this is quite cool. I made a car blog last year and it found a following. I shot the photos myself and started booking shoots to photograph cars for private collectors. Yesterday I was meeting one of them at Autodromo di Modena in Italy (I’m an Aussie but I live in Switzerland at the moment) to shoot an old race car.
I get there, say hello to the people I’m working with (gulf blue dude) and walk through the garage and onto pit lane. What’s that delicious sound in the distance? I take the lens cap off.
They do one fly-by down the main straight and pull into the garage. Short but very sweet. Turns out the car is some hardcore version of Pagani’s flagship model – they’ll make just 20 of these Huayra BC cars. $3 million a pop apparently.
There’s more photos on the blog for any car fans, and a retina wallpaper of that first shot if you need a new desktop.
P.S – Yes, those are QR codes.
I owe this guy a beer for making them stop for a minute
